newbs all the time come on here have plans for 700+whp cars and never follow through, i guess it makes em feel cool that a bunch of people on the internet think they might actually one day have a fast car? Don't get me wrong im not saying no one does it, but the people that do usually have some insight into cars in general and just not necessarly mustangs but you can always tell by the questions asked and how they're asked if somethings going to get done or not.

I like to bitch slap Noobies with the reality that their NPI POS only makes 180rwhp...Does that make me a meany E-thug? ...Maybe, but at least they learned something after reading one of my posts.

"what color should I paint the new $100k race engine I'm buying. I know a lot about cars like, they have wheels and tires, an engine, etc. And I'm building a dream machine soon so I just wanted some opinions on what to do. "

This isn't exactly what it said, but I remember some ***** on a different forum posting up something almost this rediculous. The best is when a newb gets on here and says some really dumb crap like, "I want to change the shifter on my car to make it a standard."

I seem like a jerk, i know, lol. I love the fact that there are so many new guys on the board but I hope they learn early that watching, searching and asking appropriate questions is best way to gain info for this obsession of ours.

Lol no one said you can't have a turboed street car i just said i don't think your realize how much it takes to go that fast, AND be streetable, theres alot more to putting down 9s and 8s than having 800whp. With that said theres more than just "loading a tune" as you so elequontly, put. You think you're goin 9s on stock suspension? I'm not saying you can't do it without pizza cutters up fron't but its gonna be that much harder, not to mention the suspension set-up on the majority of 8 or 9 second cars turns like a ****ing schoolbus. So everytime you wanna go out and have a "streetable car" you gonna pre-load another tune, swap out 4 wheels and fully adjust ur suspension? Maybe its time you STOP READING UP as you suggest we do and get out into the real world and see how things are done at the strip, not online. As for the we aren't really into cars, is that a joke? Come talk to me when you've actually done any kind of wrench work fto your car. Don't even pull the B.S card saying you've done this or that, just by your first post its easy to see you have very little mechanical knowledge in general let alone doing the mechancial work yourself.

I was going to defend you but I don't know....If you're that ambitious, I'd say sell you car and get a 4V...like sxynrd said a NPI car is going to require lots of work. How old are you anyways....damn asking that question made me feel old and I'm not lol....
