Default 01 GT WON'T IDLE!!!

HEY GUYS!!
I have 01 gt all stock cept aftermarket catback exhaust, I purchased from father in law in Florida. He is original owner, I store it in the winter & try to start it once a month, when I do it doesn't want to idle, RPMs are down below 1000 and will not stay running. I had thisproblem last year and when I got it out in spring and was able to run it on the road seemed to go away. just wondered if any ideas out there!!!

P.S. I keep it on battery tender all winter, also add sta-bil to fuel tank.

I had to replace mine on my 01 and once I did...what a difference. Its easy to install and shouldn't take you that long provided you don't loose the screws or gasket (like I did) :/

Just clean your IAC and you would be fine, I have just cleaned mine yesterday and the car is running smoothly, get a Carb cleaner and WD40 and clean it.

Just a thought, but I havent seen much long term success with cleaning, so save up the $$ and buy a back up one just in case.

Or just clean it at every oil change
