Default new exhaust! help!

looking to redo my exhaust on my 96.
right now it has a mac 2.5 catback with thrush turbo mufflers(macs were rusted out when i bought it). sounds ok but want it to be more aggressive.

heres my ideas
xpipe- i have emissions testing in my area unless i drive the car 3,000 miles a year or less. is there a way to get around it with an o/r x pipe,if not ill have to go with a catted.

mufflers- id like to see how it sounds with a new midpipe first but some mufflers i had in mind are magnaflows or magna packs.
anyone fit magnapacks on there catback? how? it doesnt seem like they will fit my catback since it uses 2.5 o/o mufflers and magnapacks are round and dont have offsets.

Find yourself a BBK o/r X and a new MAC catback, it'll be loud and raspy, just the way I like it lol

A way around emissions? Sure, keep your stock H and swap when the time comes.

if thats the only way id rather go with a catted x.
pretty set on magnaflow for mufflers.

fav setups so far
magnapacks and catted x
and o/r x with magnaflows.

but the easiest setup would be magnaflows and catted x.

When I have to pass emissions on my car I just put the stock H back on and then when I pass I put my o/r x back on. I have a BBK o/r x pipe with a flowmaster american thunder catback, and I love the sound, it is loud. Plus, o/r x pipes are cheaper than a catted x, and I love the smell of my exhaust when I get out of my car! Idk about how to swap in the magnaflow mufflers into the Mac catback, tho.

i can fit the magnaflow mufflers on the mac catback no problem.
but not the magnapacks since they are a round type muffler and arent as wide.

im pretty sure thats the magnapack catback unless you did it yourself.
