Oh, so it's just switching the two wires around? That's easy. I'm not gonnd bother changing the terminals in the connector, those are a HUGE pain in the ***. **** that.

the mach 1 engine uses the same heads off the 03 cobra which are better than the 99/01 heads. the mach also has a higher c/r of 10.0 vs 9.85 for the snake.the intake manifold on the mach is suppose to be a revised version of the cobra one but i havent seen or found any dyno or flow charts to prove its better. the cams are different and only the manual tranny mach 1 has a forged crank.

^ depends on your definition of better... but the difference is truely negliable and depending on what cams you want might not be the best way for you to go.

according to ford, they "updated" the heads for the 03 cobras for "better" flow characteristics.

the port, springs and cams are different, the port being the best part the later two depending upon what your trying to do with your car could be good or bad

has anyone done the B head swap on here and talked about it. i have yet to find that info. how well would this work on a 98 motor, long tubes full exhaust and all that. i got the heads and alot of other necessities for very cheap so i am strongly considering going this route. what would these heads bring my compression to? thanks guys

If I found a DOHC that was bolted to a 5 Speed, what all do you need to do to get it mount to an auto?

The 4v one is wider up at the top where it bolts to the heads.

Arn't the fly wheels different between the stick and autos? I thought they were when you did an auto to stick swap on the 2V's.
