Was it really worth it

RE: Was it really worth it
i did them on my buddy's mustang with him, if you have a lift, air tools, and all the tools your going to need its fine, but still takes a very long time to install. I personally will not be installing my LT on my car, i will rather pay the shop fee for someone else to do it

im installing mine in a month.. i heard its a pain in the *** job to do.. but the car will sound better and have more power than before. i would say its worth the trouble but just about anything to me is worth it for more hp.

Well i love my longtubes they really set off the exhaust, feel more power throughout the power ban not to mention showing all those stangs out there who think they are the **** cuz of a catback they just put on. I love when im at a light and they started reving at me i just pop it into neutral and show them what real american muscle sounds like. get them if you have the money and have a shop install them not worth the hassle i got mine installed for a steal $150.

wow ducky, that was a steal. I cant believe you got them installed for that kinda price. Shops usually rape the **** outta you for having LT installed because its like a 4+ hour job (well atleast what i've been told)

yea i got lucky. I went to an offroad shop because a friend of mines dad had dropped 10k there trickin out his f-150 and the owner jsut happened to drive a mustang gt and said hed do it for me i dont think he realized how difficult it was gonna be i think he went out of pocket cuz it took a lot longer then he thought. But Im happy with the out come.

haha, he prolly took some of the 10K your buddy's dad gave him for doing the work to the F-150, with the way shops rape you nowadays, prolly could have done two f-150's with that kinda money. lol Im having a mechanic at my work put in my 3.73's so ill end up paying like $50 - $100 which is amazing. Over the winter im building up my bottom end with forged crank, pistons, rods, heads, and cam... hes doing the entire install for $1,000
