Question Question...

I have a PI intake, but I was just wondering if heads are necessary? If not, are there any "cons" about not having them?
Thanks

you can run with stock heads, but PI have larger opening and therefore better airflow, or you can just put PI cams and port and polish your stock heads

Thanks. I plan on getting new heads in a few months, but for now I already have the intake, so I was just wondering if it was necessary.

No i swapped a PI intake on my old motor, because it cracked. If your going to put heads on later, put the new intake on later. You're gonna need to use some RTV sealant if you put it on the old heads. Do a search, theres a write up how to somewhere.
