i would do a nice catback or mufflers to get her sounding good then gears and a nice tune. just what i'd do though. cause then you have a mean sounding car, and it'll be pretty quick too

Think that gears are definitely hard to install and when you get them on you are going to need a tune so your speedometer won´t be off and you won´t be putting more miles on the odometer. Long tubes are hard to install too but guess what? You are end up buying long tubes and gears later on so, I don´t think it matters too much, I would rather install long tubes first and make the car sound great then the gears, while then enjoy the gas mileage with the stock ones!

Hey man I hear you but I would rather have a fast car that dosen't sound good than have a car that sounds mean but has no ba**s... LT's are a good fit but for a 2V the best bang for the buck has to be gears......

Like I said...it doesn´t really matter he is most likely going to end up having long tubes and gears on his car so...up to the owner! But don´t you need like special tools to install the gears? My friend got them not too long ago and he ended up bringing the car to a shop to get them installed, $300 for the work + how much are gears? My car came with 4.10s so I have no clue how much they are. 400 or so right?

Good choice!!! Let me know if you need any help with the long tubes, I pretty much became an expert after having to take them off to replace my clutch. I´m pretty sure you can do 450+ with nitrous but if you have the money, supercharger will be the best option!!
