Default Intake gizmo

Does anyone know what that little gizmo is that sticks in the intake arm right after the MAM? I was thinking either an o2 sensor or the IAC not sure I pulled it out and it looks like there is some kind of reader in the tip which sends information through a coil.

Thanks

Intake air temperature.

And there's no 02 sensors in the engine bay. They're on the exhaust pipes.
