Default Gear ratio decision

Hey all, i got a 00gt with full exhaust and a procharger. im lookin at gears but im not sure what ratio i should get. this car is daily driven but i want to be able to play on the strip as well. i heard 3.73's were a good all around gear but then i was thinkin about 3.55's or 4.10s. if you have a set of these gears let me know what you think about them. thanks

3.73's or 410's for sure. Since you have a blower most people will recommend 373 gears....something about running out of gear with 410's. I personally can't tell what's better, but do not get 3.55
Oh, my 373' are great.

3.73 with that charger on it! You want to take advantage of that boost though all of your gears.

Your only making 381 RWHP at 10 PSI ?!!?!?!?

Please tell me this is not true. I know that MD dynoed at LEAST 415, and the only thing he really has you don't is cams, but he is also running less boost and no intercooler.

I see nakani is only running 354 with a vortech (8PSI I assume)? Whats the deal is 425 not in reach with boltons, cams, and a 8 psi blower (intercooled)???? Or do cams really make that much difference?

i have 3.55 in both my saleens and like that gear ratio very much. one of my cars is supercharged and works very well with the 3.55 i have zero wheelspin. i also have a LSD and 305 tires. you should consider posi trac.
