The shift kit isnt as much for the launch unless you throw a stall in with the kit. The shift kit in an auto mainly makes it shift into the next gear faster and harder so you wont lose any speed through the shifts.

Diver lives by his shift kit! I have heard nothing but good things about shift kits. They not only increase fun and performance, they actually extend tranny life. I am wondering right now why I don't have one.

TransGo is apparently the best one.

It's MUCH harder than intake/exhaust stuff.

If you don't know your way around an auto tranny, I'd have someone else do it.

www.transgo.com

I love mine! and I had it now for more than 6 months, no problems. If you are doing it yourself read the instructions very carefully and go step by step. It is not an easy task and it is very messy. If you do not feel comfortable doing it, take it to a good mechanic.

Good luck.

I ordered them through transgo, very easy to do it just follow the instructions for your year and model.
Good luck.
