Tuning with Wideband
I did some logging with Logworks2 from Innovative and was wondering if someone could take a look at the log and let me know if/how much I needed to tune. This is the first car I tuned the afr and was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction. I am using sniper tuning special forces.

A lot of guys on www.deltaforcetuningforums.com will help you out. I'd go there they are very helpful.

You need to do a log with a 3rd (or 4th) gear WOT run from 2500 to 5500 rpm so that the PCM will go closed loop and stay closed loop while you are accelerating. AFR will always be around 14.64:1 in closed loop mode.

Yeah I noticed that when I was looking at the log in sniper this morning that I saved of the run. The car never came out of closed loop. Is that normal?
The log was about 25 minutes of driving. The spikes were when I was shifting. I did not do any WOT pulls because I am fighting a vibration issue that I want to look at. I didnt know if the vibration was caused from my tune or not...
I will try to get a WOT run in the next day or two. Thanks for the help.

It went a bit rich in the first pull (down in to the 11.5:1 range), the second pull looks good--was the engine cold (or cooler) on the first run?
You have to be above 50% or so load, and 60% throttle, before the PCM will go open loop.

Both runs were about 15 minutes of warm up time. I do have a 180 degree thermostat installed so it does run a little cool. The runs I did I basically put the car in 3rd, took it to 2500, hit the record button and floored it to 5500. It feels pretty strong but I figured I needed some more tuning sice I have the PI cams and intake.
My tune is a 93 octane tune, with the timing set to 2° global, 1° to the low rpm, 1.5° at the mid setting, and 2° at the high rpm range.
I would like to do a few more pulls. The hard part is finding a safe stretch of road to make the pulls.
As far as the load and throttle, the first run was going up a slight hill, and the 2nd run was going down a slight hill. Not sure if that matters or not. I was worried that my numbers were way off so I am glad to hear it was pretty close.

Do you have Special Forces or Delta Force? If SF then you are as close as you are going to get things. Play with more spark advance if you like, for my "what passes for winter here" tune (Saint Augustine FL) I run 2.5° Global, and 3.0° across the board in the rpm range based settings.
When the hotter weather comes (next week) I will drop the rpm based settings by 0.5° or so--and listen for pinging...

Ok.... I have SF. It is starting to warm up here in Cincy, so I may mess with the timing a little more. I just dont want to hurt anything so I may also just run it the way it is and allow for some room for error. Then again, I may get a litle more aggressive on the timing when I take it to the track. Thanks for all the help.
Maybe someday after the LT install I will upgrade to the commando package. I am still trying to learn the tuning on SF.
