Default Want to upgrade a stock '96 GT automatic.

I just bought a bone stock, but very well maintained '96 GT with 49,000 miles. I would like to get better throttle response at low rpms. This is my daily driver, I do not hit the track or waste my time and fuel on ricers. I just want a little bigger kick in the pants from red light to red light. I am thinking of installing underdrive pullies and a BBK throttle body/plenum package. Is the 75mm TB too big for low rpms? I'm not to happy with the harsh ride. The shocks and struts are very strong. Are there any replacement parts to soften it up a bit? Any help will be great!

Default RE: Want to upgrade a stock '96 GT automatic.

your really not going to notice much of anything with what you just metioned. since your really not into going that fast it seems i would get exhaust first thats the first thing i did and still love it. so longtube headers if you want to do it right but a must is midpipe H or X and then a catback. And if your not into that a 4.10 gear is right way to go thats some serious kick from red light to red light. if you get a plenum c&l is the way to go and 75mm tb is not to much for that. however if you get the accufab plenum and tb go with the 70mm
