How far are you willing to go and how much money are you willing to spend? Twin-turbos are overkill on a stock block. Single turbos will produce more power than the stock block can hold. So can even the most introductory level supercharger. Single turbos are more expensive than superchargers but they also include the exhaust. The easiest and least expensive is the centrifical supercharger. You do not have to change the exhaust or intake. If your are on a budget, you can get one without an intercooler and run low boost for a while. Low boost usually generates 330-350 rwhp.

do you have a built engine or plan on building it? if so the twin turbo would be my choice.

I don't know what every ones infatuation is with twin turbos. I would much rather have an appropriate sized single turbo any day.

Cheaper, less heat and like I mentioned, if it is appropriately sized you should have much issues with lag.

If on a stock car and a limited budget, supercharger.

Since you didn't say it, I would assume you still have the NPI engine in that car, so my vote would be none of the above, at least not yet.

PI swap with longtubes and cams will get you about the same HP increase as a supercharger or turbo on a stock NPI, and cause you a lot less headaches.

And I would suggest you do some research before you jump into anything. It's easy to get in over your head, especially with power adders if you're new to Mustangs. Double the price of the kit you want to buy to cover installation, other things you'll need and tuning.

You should go with a small supercharger like a vortech v2 sq. Then when you get back from deployment you can build your engine and trade up the head unit for something bigger like a YSI.
