Default Figured I would ask the best

Okay guys, i know I posted about a Mach and stuff, but I found this:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Now basically I'm mechanically retarded, almost to a sad point, so I figured I would ask you guys. It looks okay to me, but what do i know? I like the aftermarket stuff, but that could potentially be bad. Also, what does rebuilt title mean? Any thoughts on this one guys? Thanks a alot.

Stay away from it, you can find alot better. Either get a mach or a cobra and call it a day.

Why stay away from it though? Is it too good to be true? Everything else I've seen has twice the miles for a lot more.

And to be honest, I can't really afford a high dollar car right now; but at the same time I don't want to be cheap and get a piece of crap. Just thought it looked good, any other opinions?

I would not buy a car with a re-built title. What is the max $$$ you are willing to spend?

Like 8k maybe. I know it isn't a lot, and I can't expect to get too good of a vehicle for it, but it's what i have. Why are rebuilt titles so bad?

I would stay away from it. Rebuilt title means it was declared totaled and somebody rebuilt it.

Deff of a rebuilt title:

A "rebuilt title" is placed upon a rebuilt or reconstructed vehicle, which previously was a salvage vehicle but has now been repaired and restored to operation. These vehicles are often severely damaged before they are rebuilt and refurbished parts are typically used during reconstruction. In most states, an inspection of the vehicle is required before the vehicle is allowed to return to the road.

Why don't you look into a 96-98 cobra?

I really like the look of the 99-04 models, and yes I know looks don't mean anything, ext. ext. but it's just human nature to account aesthetics (especially when one knows nothing about mechanics). So even if me and my dad look the car over really well, drive it hard, inspect it, make sure the frame isn't bent, ext. and the car looks good, there's still a likelihood that it's bad? Are most rebuilt titles duds?

Just not worth it, IMO either

Keep looking, there are LOTS of cars for sale now as many cannot afford to keep them due to piling up bills.

You will find a nice ride, it is out there

Just keep looking bro. Don't have your heart set on one car, you gotta keep a open mind. With the economy so bad you will be able to find a good car in your price range. But hey if you wanna go buy a rebuilt title car go rite ahead. But when you have problems with it don't come back crying cuz we told ya so.
