from what i understood they wil tune it but maybe i heard wrong
Then I would look into it and see what exactly they are willing to do for the $95, cause thats a steal. The shop I use charges between $350 and $500 for a complete dyno tune. I get it for alot cheaper though

If I were you I'd still get it tuned. You have no idea how your car is running. You could be lean, rich, need timing, etc. Get it done now, and if you have Diablo you can do the gear ratio change yourself w/out the need of retune by the shop. Do it, and pay the $50 a year from now to get it redone.

It's usually 300+ when you need a chip/tuner. The shop I deal with does 3 pulls w/ a/f tuned for $100.

I'm a little biased though

yea i just wanna get my a/f right cuz like you saidi could be running rich or lean im kinda think i run rich due to black residue on my tail pipes and my buddy did it w/his car who has the same mods mine h-pipe and pullleys and gained 6hp and like 12trq for $95 that isnt too bad in my opinion i dont know if mine will do that much but hell itll be cool to know where my hp is at anyway

Since you are done with your HP mods go ahead and get it dyno'd. Hopefully, your shop will have a WIDEBAND o2 sensor hooked to their rig and that will help reprogram your fuel curve. You have a Diablo tune already so that means that you are already running advanced timing and fuel so that means that you are already burning premium fuel I hope. You won't get much increase on the dyno because all that you can do is bump up the fuel and timing a bit more. You'll take a baseline pull then start adding fuel/timing according to the results and the wideband A/f ratio. After a few pulls, more timing and fuel won't get you a single HP. Your engine will be hot and you'll be tired of standing in the shop redlining it. Still, I recommend the dyno so that you know your A/F and you know that you want to know what HP/TQ you are putting out. I just want to let you know not to expect to much. It can be disapointing if you only have mild mods (voice of experience). You'll probably be around 250RWHP / 285 RWTQ on a dynojet. (Just a guess).

Nobody is mad, there is just a bunch of bad info out there floating around and we don't want it to hurt anyone.

Ok, you should explain to me. I talked to a guy who has a 10 second cobra and he told me tune it w/ a Y band and a computer instead of a dyno for the HP curve that i stated earlier, explain to me how im wrong. I'll take everything into consideration because after my swap i need to get my car tuned and im not sure if im gonna take it to a dyno or that guy w/ the cobra. So please inform me.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. JD said it right above though, so I won't reiterate.

BTW...when J.D. from SCT tuned my Stang, the did 3 pulls, & all I was charged was $85, so believe it or not that is what i paid.
