Default Stock H Pipe Help!!!

Im trying to take the stock H pipe off my 96 GT, but I can not get the passenger side inside nut off the manifold. How can I get this off. I know its a 18mm. I have tried a swivel and all different things. Im going to try a 18mm medium deep swivel socket next i just borrowed, but if anyone knows a better way please let me know!! Thanks

I think there was a thread about this recently. Use PB Blaster. If you didn't start working already you could have sprayed the bolt then driven to heat the oil up and repeat this a couple times. These heat cycles really help. If this doesn't work take a torch and heat the bolt if you can.

Im just having the trouble of getting a socket to go over it with the length of the stud and angle its at. I was just wondering if anyone knew a certain setup that does work for sure.

Patience, a 12 pack of your favorite beer, PB blaster, extensions, swivel and a 18MM short deep well.....if that makes sense.

all true, but keep the beer in a small cooler under the car with you so you don't have to move.

yeah the swivel is what will be your best bet you just have to keep at it

well I got it all off and put the new X pipe on. The 18mm short deep well swivel socket took care of it. It sounds really good too!
