when i drive around town how warm should my center console get? i mean the part that is around the shifter? that whole piece gets warm-hot, but not so hot that you cant touch it.

is that normal?
if not what could i do to solve the problem?

 

Just a guess but maybe theres not enough oil in the tranny to lubricate properly.
