Unhappy U/P ARE GARBAGE!!!

SO, i have had my u/p's for some time now, before i did the pi swap, cause the car ran hot from a bad fan motor, the alternator gauge would always fall really low at idle, i think this constant up and down of the charging system is what cooked my fan motor the first time, now the new fan has gone out again, it lasted about 2 months, i think now im gonna go back to the stock pulley, its not worth the hassle or the expense of having to replace electrical parts. anyone else have these problems with there u/ps?

I have a pulley from an underdrive kit on my alternator (for better belt wrap) and never once had a charging problem even with my upgraded ignition, gauges and multiple electronics running on the car now.

I think the 99+ have a little better alternator. Never any problem with mine. Hell, I have 108,000 miles on my original battery. I have ran a Hawker in the summer a couple of years but the OEM battery gets it done all winter

piggy back or not, they dont give you much power anyways. your $ could be better spent on some other mod. i wouldnt use piggy backs b/c they separate the balancer from the crank reducing its ability to its job.
