My old headlights on my 96 GT are in pretty bad condition, so I'm buying some new ones. I was planning on getting smoked lights, then buying a HID conversion kit. Then someone brought up the legality of smoked lights in Massachusetts. Anyone know if they are legal or not? Or have any suggestions on other lights?

 

In NYS they're OK...you need to check with your local DMV or inspection shop....If they are, just get some nice OEM Ford headlights!

 

Looks like I'm going with OEM lights. Where would be the best place to buy them?

 

i love the crystal clear cobra headlights, that is what i switched over to. If you regularly clean them, like i do with meguiar's PLAST-X, they are still clear after about 2.5 years.

 

E bay for the lights, shop a little and you will get the best price

 

Have you tried American Muscle? You get a forum discount, but you have to have 50 post first lol.

how do u like ur HIDs are they brighter, bigger spotlight?

 

A million times brighter and a way wider & farther light output. The lower the K the brighter.
