Default gauge question...

i just ordered the 3 pillar autometer a-pillat set. it has place for 3 gauges and one of them is for nitrous. what should i put in the other 2? i was thinking a water temp guage and a mechanical fuel pressure gauge. what do you think should i get those 2 or something else. thanks.

Sorry dude - not a clue. I got the only gauge I felt I needed: a Dynojet Wide Band Commander. When I hit it, I want to know that my a/f ratio is right on, and if it's not I can get off the gas before I blow up my engine. Also, I can datalog with it and send the files to Tim at MPH. How cool is that?!

Do you have a auto? If so I would install a trans temp gauge (I did trans temp and water temp in my (2) gauge pod) and if you have a 5 speed you could install a oil cooler and put a temp sensor on that? Put what ever you think will help you montier (sp?) what is going on with your car so you can keep it riunning good.

Well seeing that you have a auto through a trans cooler on it (they are cheep I think I paid $50 for mine) and then install a temp gauge so you can see how hot your trans is.

well I don't know about them I was just wondering because I'm thinking about getting a 3 pod pillar as well. I'm going to put A/f Ratio, Pyrometer for the ehaust temp and I was thinking a PSI gauge for Nitrous. You should consider getting a pyrometer. It will tell you the exhaust temp and you will know if you start running too hot. If you hit like 1300 degrees you run the risk of melting stuff.

you dont want to do a analong fuel pressure gauge inside the car. too dangerous in case of leaks.
