Default ACCUFAB PLENUM TECH QUESTION/SALE CONCERN

(all in concern to a good friend)..

"a guy is selling some accufab 70mm tb + plenum for 200.

cheap? or rather go new? and is 75mm worth the money if your spending it? or does 70 do the job.. either n/a or supercharged. on his 2003 gt.

this plenum would not have to be synched to his car, from his stock plenum would it?

thanks for your input and help."

Great price if everything is in working order. New is about $400+ for that setup. 70mm is good for an N/A car. 75mm won't get you anymore power unless you have a supercharger. Although I did see a drop in gas mileage when I installed mine. Keeping the stock TB won't be bad, just missing out on a few hp. It's an easy install and will only take you and hour or two depending on your mechanical proficiency

It's a good deal and a 70 mm is fine for stock to light mod.
The only concern is what year was it mounted on, the plenum comes with 2 different tubes from accufab, one for 2001 and earlier and one for 2002 and later IIRC.
They are go where the rubber hose meets the plenum at the front of the motor.
Just make sure you get the right adapter with it.
I guess worse case scenario is you hit home depot and get creative for that piece or call accufab and see if they will sell it seperate if it doesn't come with it.

yeah all in all its for a friend like a said, I just told him what you guys said it backed my opinion much more. He was saddened at the fact that I had a 75 and I tried telling him it matters barely.

Honestly, personally IMO.. if I find a p51 satin blk one day I am going with that, but hey well see when that happens. I bought the accufab thinking differently.. a year or so ago.
