Hey fellas,
I'm really wanting to get into an 03 - 05 GT- preferrably a convertable. The problem I'm facing is leg room- I'm 6'5".
I'm not a huge guy but I have my knees hitting the steering wheel when I test drove one. I've heard that there are some good aftermarket seats that I could go with that would allow more seat travel for better leg room.
Is this a possibility?

i believe with stock seats you can bolt them out and move them back to a second track or something, which adds a lot more leg room. of course, the back seat will be even more non existent..

I have the Cobra Daytona seats and they go REALLY far back. They will go to the back seat and then some if you press them. oohh... and they recline ALL THE WAY BACK!

I am also 6'5 and 255lbs. Any Mustang up to the 04, you will be seating challenged. I did the seat mod on mine and went from cramped to comfortable. It is a must that you get the seat extenders or do the mod. I sat in an 05 GT with power seats the other day and it had way more room. No need for anything to be done, great legroom.

Any suggestions on picking up some Cobra Daytona seats? Do those come in leather?
