Default stock exhaust

is the stock exhaust 2.25" diameter or 2.5"? i want to weld in some mufflers and get different tips instead of a full exhaust.

will a summit h-pipe bolt up to stock headers and stock exhaust pipe?

If you are sticking with the stock catback piping, and just welding in mufflers, then yes, get 2.25

Well, unless you can do the labor of welding them in yourself, or you know someone that will do it for cheap, then tack on at least another 200 dollars for labor and then your at 500 vs 600. Even then, it WILL NOT be the same sound as a catback will give you. 2 reasons to support this would be the fact that the original piping is 2.25" and it is crush bent. The Flow catback is 2.5" piping and mandrel bent, so it will have an over all better flow to it. Not to mention, you can install it by yourself with only a jack/jackstands and your basic hand tools.

I say go with 2.5 piping. You will notice your car breathes better with it then 2.25. Just my 2 cents, not to mention sound better and accelerate better!!
