Default New from Ohio with car troubles!

Well im new to this site, and decided to check out cause I've got a car problem and I'm stumped. My g/f has a 96 mustang, that was a gt, and has a cobra motor swap, trans swap, and the entire ground effect kit from a cobra....basically a cobra clone. Anyways it sat for one day,it's been raining and chilly, and she went out to go to work today and nothing. The lights all come on, fuel pump kicks on, but when you turn the key it doesn't do anything. I've gone through all the wiring, checked the fuses, and next is to check the connections on the starter. Anyone have any helpful ideas, or is there anything I could have missed??Thanks in advanced!

Theft system activated maybe??

Maybe a relay?

Dead soloioid on the starter?

Check voltage. Figure out where is the last place you have 12v and you will find the short/bad part. This problem is one of those that it will probably end up being something very simple in the end. Just a pain in the butt to find the cause.

Give me more info, or keep us updated with your progress, and I will help if I can.

you might check the wire that goes from the battery to the starter and see if that may have broke off. and have you tried to jump it just to see what happens.

and were in ohio are you from

go to autozone and get a big yellow 2 progned fuse that has the number 20 on itits called a 20A Maxi Fuse...it goes under the hood of your stang on the fusebox on driverside...it will say liek ford powerbox pull the ocver off and replace it..it is the first yellow one from the top...my cobra did the exact same thing but wouldnt start..i changed the fuse and she fired right up..i think it activates the anti theft and wont let you start it..so try that

If anti theft is triggered then the engine will crank but won't start.
