Default Temperature sending unit locations *PICS*

okay so the first picture is where i had all three of my sending units on my aluminum crossover. the second one is my new HPS intake with circles where my sending units are located.

I have my autometer sending unit on the back of the manifold, is this not a good spot for it? I am getting a lower temp when cruising (about 160*) but while sitting at a light it will finally go above 180*. if anything i thought i would get a higher reading because i thought the back cylinders didn't get the best coolant flow unless you have the coolant mod obviously.

Well no coolant would flow past it there so I would have to say that it was a bad spot for it. I'd don't really see where else you could put it now that you have the whole drilled for it.
