Default Procharger Venting to Atmosphere

1) Is it safe to do this?
2) Is it advantageous?
3) Is it as simple to switch?

thank you

1. yes
2. you will get a better sound
3. just take the hose off the valve and plug the hole in the s/c intake.

Doesn't he have to make sure the MAF is after the valve though...

+1 I asked ProCharger about it when I was having trouble with my bypass valve. I plugged the hole with a 1"-1 1/8" expandable plug that I bought at Advance Auto.

Alright, well in about 10 seconds I took off the hose leading off of the bypass valve and plugged it with a rubber cap from Autozone. The sound is much better than venting it back into the intake. Makes a nice loud "chirping" sound in between shifts now.

Thats all i need to do right? I can't see it affecting anything negatively since I'm just releasing the air in the engine bay

Yes. As long as you have the hole plugged on the supercharger intake you'll be fine. You don't want to be sucking dirt into your supercharger through that hole.
