Default Difference between struts?

well i have always heard to go with fox body struts if the car is lowered a lot since fox body struts are shorter than new edges. from what i can see on summits website both struts for foxes and NE, have the same collapsed and extended lengths. so what exactly is the difference? I'm running fox body KYB AGX struts right now.

The collapse and extend length doesn't really matter because the overall length of the foxbody strut is shorter.

When you say fox body, I assume you are reffering specifically to 89-93 years, right?
