Man, I wish Ford would have made the car a little tighter. If you think about it, The mustang at msrp pricing is not a cheap car. If jap cars can be so tight and have no rattles and cost less, you would think that Ford could do the same. My car rattles so freaking much on the inside its enough to drive you crazy. I have 3 that are the worst that I have pin pointed. One is the long plastic insert that is on the dash in the defrost vent, then the plastic trim casing around the shifter boot, and there is another somewhere behind the driver seat on the plastic quarter panel under that small quarter window. Is there any fixes that stop the rattling? What can is stick under the plastic so it doesnt do that.

Mine does rattle, but generally only when I have change in the cup holder or somewhere in the car. Sometimes the panels on my dash near my defrost/vent also rattle.

Indeed, this is pretty synonymous with American cars in general though. I’ve owned nearly all Nissans, and even at 130,000, they still fire and run like a top. Now sure why American cars have a tendency to rattle so much…

do you live on dirt roads???? I hardly have any rattles what so ever. AND I live on a dirt road

yea the plastic piece around my cd player and ac and all that rattles sinice ive taken in off a few times to put in a head unit and my shifter piece has been out multiple times so it doesnt fit quite perfectly but oh well other than that the car is great and yea that goes w/american cars my old camaro rattled alot also

I live in Dallas and the roads here suck. They might as well be dirt roads, it would probably be smoother. I even have subframe connectors and still have a ton of rattles.

my gt has yet to vibrate enough to make me notice anything,

but i had a 94 ford escort before this car, and it RATTLED LIKE A *****

mine rattles when there is someone in the passenger side, my new shifter rattles a little every now and then

my car does not rattle that much, (i have Subframe connectors) and i feel every little bump even the littlest bump or what ever i feel it. is any of your guys like that also? or is it just a mustang thing

I think it is a low profile tire and sport suspension thing.
