Default How long does a supercharged engine last on average?

My question is pretty much the topic. My car is on the verge of being supercharged but I would like to know on average how long a supercharged car lasts? I know each person is different as far as how they drive their cars but someone here has to know an average. With that in mind is there anyway of increasing a supercharged engines life without going with forged internals?

Everyone tells me that the supercharger is going to kill my engine life, How does the tune save my engines lifespan?

Dude not to me a dick, but all your silly little posts are getting annoying. Most of the info you have asked about is searchable. Just get the damn blower already.

I've tried searching for it but I haven't found what I wanted and not just here. I appreciate the help of everyone here on such a high level but if your getting annoyed with my posts then there's a simple answer. Stop reading them.

People that Complain about stupid questions, Why do you read the post? O Thats right, So you can get another post under your belt?? If someone is going to spend 5k on something, im pretty sure id research as MUCH as possible!!!!

Like Stated Above, its All in the Tune.... Find a GREAT tuner in your area. Many people on this site have Beat the **** out of ~400whp cars for Multiple year and no BOOM.... Its a ****ty tune that puts your motor in trouble..

It not just the tune, but also how far you push the motor. Most tuners recommend no more than 370-380 rwhp on stock internals. Little mistakes are more forgiving at that horsepower than at 450 rwhp. I've got 117,000 on the motor, 37,000 of it was supercharged. I don't really beat on the car but the motor does occasionally see redline. Things happen, but I'm fairly confident that it will go a few more years (180,000+ miles) before I have to rebuild or replace the motor.

Well, With a good tune you can Race it every weekend... But ur right its not all the tune.. If your a Dumb *** and go OVER REDLINE(AGAINST THE TUNE) it will hurt... Say you have Meth injection Empty Tank(Problems). Say you dont put Oil in the car/SC.(BOOM). (most other mistakes i think are Drivers Problem)
