Default Anyone done their own Hid kit?

I'm replacing the headlights on my wrecked cobra, and I remember it had these really bright lights, that everyone thought were HID, but they weren't as far as I know.

Well apparently they got lost in the wreck, cuz I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know of a good HID kit to get, or possibly really bright white lights that aren't HID's?

Also anyone know of a good place to buy smoked headlights, besides AM? I checked there and they're like 180 bucks. I did check Ebay too, and they all appear to be the cheap chinese versions. Anyone actually install those and like them? OEM look to be about 100-120 apiece.

I got my HID fogs from HIDGUY.NET. Their ballast is problably the smallest out there (about the size of a credit card and 1/4 inches thick. They were really easy to install. i got the 5000K bulbs. AMAZING!
