Default Broken passenger mirror

So I was wiping my car down last night and bumped into my passenger mirror and broke it off. So I am looking at the 3 bolts and crappy plastic that hold it on and was thinking do I replace it or use aviation adhesive like I did with our old Focus.
So my question is what is the likelihood of this happening again if I replace the mirror? Should I just glue it? It's lasted 3 years with the kids' Focus.

Ideas/opinions.

By the way I have already ordered the new mirror. I am just looking for opinions since this happened with our other Ford product.

Hi, IAO that you are talking about the plastic part of the mirror. For me it would depend on what it would look like after you repaired it. How much you are into detail, etc. Used mirror are fairly cheap and a easy replacement for our cars.

Thanks 96t-bird. Since the car's still in storage mode I'm just gonna replace the mirror. They're cheap enough that replacement looks like the best option.

It's not crappy plastic because you broke it. It's designed to break off when you hit something like a pedestrian or sideswipe a car or your garage doorway, etc.

If it was a real heavy duty high quality super strong piece, you'd be buying a new door and door window.
