Question Kenne Bell non-intercooled?

So i've been really thinkin hard about the kenne bell package, and thier non-intercooled 6 psi kit is only 3899. i could prolly swing that, especially if it gets me boosted and gets me that Kenne Bell sound.

so my question is, does anyone have this kit? i heard that you can upgrade it to the intercooled kit later on by just adding the intercooler, pulley, and re-chipping it - someone said kenne bell does this for the additional 1100 - which would put it at the exact price for the 9psi IC kit.

im just wondering also if anyone does have this kit, if you could provide me with any additional info, like whats the RWHP i can expect from it @ 6psi with thier tune, and if i should think about maybe gettin another pulley for it, i was thinkin 8 or 9 psi non-intercooled and what this might put me at?

The kit will net you between 320-340 depending on other mods you have. as far as running 8psi+ non i/c is not smart these tend to heat soak pretty bad so if your going to run more than 8psi with out i/c look into a meth kit. the i/c kit @9psi with stock maf and their tune will net you 360-380 and that is good enough for awhile until you want more. Their tune is good but very safe so you will not see 400+ @9psi.

just save and get the ic kit. you are going to spend more than you would for the 9 psi ic kit to ic the 6 psi kit. trust me. Roush2002 just went through this and he will tell you the same. he had the non ic 6 psi kit and put the ic on it and it ended up costing him more than it would have if he would have just bought the 9 psi ic kit in the first place

damn. all well. another 1100 means i have to wait longer to get it, and we all hate waiting lol. was hoping they would have a sort of "stage" setup where i could just upgrade later on without having a huge difference in price. i might see if i can get a tuner kit from them, minus the chip, injectors, fuelpump, and such, as a dyno would prove more useful than a canned tune, and i have a set of 42lb'ers already.

i probably will anyways... but the upgrade option is still open. roush2002's costs were because he had someone install it - so they had to pull everything off and put it back on again. if you do it yourself you only pay the 1100 plus shipping. so technically the only additional cost is for having to have each shipped seperately. plus the tune if you have it dyno tuned. KB sends the chip included tho, you just have to make sure you get the old chip back to them, or else they charge you 150 on top.

if i manage to save up, i'll hopefully have a 9 psi kit on by next spring...
