i almost bought projectors, glad i didnt. i went with the clear cobra replacements and they look awesome. projecters look weird on stangs ive seen one with them and they just dont fit. if you get projectors, you might as well get euros too to match, i think ricey is a good word to describe it.

i got mine off ebay, somewhere around 130$. oh and install is a synch. there is a post about it on here too. you unscrew the signal lamps first, they pop out, then you remove the retaining clip on the upper plug to the headlight. the headlights just pop out, with some effort, andd you should realign them one side at a time while you stil have the stock one on either side. goodluck!

94-98 headlights are differently mounted than 99-04. the 99-04 are held in with 2 little clips on each side. way easier to switch out 99-04 than 94-98. and get some smoked headlights. not projector.

i dont know about you guys but i do like the projectors. i have had them for close to a year now and i think they are sweet. they dont look that ricey. i also have altezza tail lights and they dont look ricey either. the things that make them look like that are body kits and euro type wheels. imho.

I like the smoked ones better with out the amber corners, but if you are interested in still seeing what the projectors look like this guy has them on his webpage http://www.cardomain.com/ride/241712

My thoughts exactly. Projectors and altezzas are fine. Be aware that some aftermarket lights are prone to leak though, right out of the box.

The real problem with the stock headlights on the 1999-2004 Mustang is that they are just not very good. Are the "diamont" or "projector" light I've seen on EBay actually any better at lighting up the road at night.

As far as hi-power bulbs - I have tried them and other then their short life span, all the do is put more light in the wrong places b/c the problem is not intensity but the reflector design.

Enuf' rant... Does anyone have any positive / negative feed back on how well replacement headlights function?
