Just did the breaks all around last night and on the rear the bulb on the caliper that puts the pressure on the pads was really hard to push in. So hard i broke two 6 inch C clamps and had to take the one caliper completely out and use a wrench for leverage on the c clamp handle. My question is should the bulb be that hard to get back in or do my rear calipers need replaced?

 

it has to be turned and pushed in at the same time,theres a tool for the rear calipers

 

you may have broke them, check for leaks.

but ya you turn them clockwise as you push in, you can rent the tool from a local auto parts store, otherwise i did it myself with a c-clamp, needlenose vise grips and alot of patience..

twist, push, twist, push, twist etc.......it takes about 10 min each side (about 50 twists, and 50 pushes haha)
i suggest you rent the tool
