have you checked the fuel pump relay? try opening the gas cap and stick your ear near it and have a buddy turn the key to the on position to really get a clue as to if the pump is whirring or not.

 

That is what I did today and I could not hear anything from the tank. I do hear a clicking noise from what seems to be coming from inside of the front passenger fender near the air intake area. What does that mean?

Anybody also care to tell me how to turn on the fuel pump continuously? That way I would know if the pump was bad or not.
