Default SLP LT Headers

I'm looking at some LT's...and I'm about to drop sum $$$ on some SLP's.

I have been on some web sites and some say they will fit...some say they will not fit.
Can anybody give me their 2 cents? By the way....I have flowtechs LT's which are crap.

Also, which gaskets should I get? I hear copper are no good. What about the Stage 8 Locking Header Bolt Kit?

My ride: 1998 GT Vert Auto

Thanks in advance!

make sure you have a decent amount of cash set aside for the install before you spend $900 on some long tubes. I have heard good things about SLP, but a lot of ppl on here will tell you that BBK will do the job equally as well at a fraction of the cost.

Yes...I had the Flowtechs done already. Lot-o-$$$ for the install.

The BBK's will not fit the 98 vert auto. I would if I could.

Any other brands out there worth looking at?

slp's are notorious for hanging low. i have macs they fit good. i would suggest kooks if you are willing to dish out that kinda cash. as far as gaskets i recommend ford OEM.

if you gonna spend that kinda money might as well go kooks. i made the mistake of going slp's and switched not long after. MACs get the job done for cheap but the quality of materials wont quite hang with the kooks tho.

I went with ARH, Best welds I've ever seen. SLP's hang to low!
