Default Help with clutch

Okay, I just got a 98 GT and I need to replace the clutch, pressure plate, and throughout bearing. I would like to set my car up for more road/track use and not so much the drag strip. I want to do lots of supension work and little body or real deep engine work for a long time. What brand/model should I get to do this. I want something that's a little tougher, stage I or so, but something that is still easy to shift and good in an everyday driver.

Thanks.

Thats for a 96 GT but it should be the same if not you can change it. Most if not all of those come with pilot bearing, pressure plare, throw out bearing.... and some other stuff. But like I said Im not really sure what kind of clutch is a performance clutch but they do have some on there.

I just put in a new clutch kit from FRPP that isn't quite broke in yet but its working well. It doesn't really have a name, they just call it a heavy duty racing clutch. But for $40 more you can get the King Cobra.

So would you recommend the Ford Racing version of the King Cobra, or is that made by some other company anyhow? What would be a good flywheel?

I have a king cobra and its stiff, very. Id go w/ that you can get one for 170 and its about 40% more grip then OEM.

Sounds good. i want to autoX this mustang eventually so I'll give that a shot. What would be a good flywheel to mount up to the king cobra?
