shift knobs interchangeable?

shift ***** interchangeable?

Will a shift **** from a stock 05 fit the shifter in a stock 02?

I don't believe they do. I believe there is a kit or something you can buy so that you can use it on a pre-05 Stang

I am pretty sure that the threads are different. I have seen that shift **** in an SN-95 though and IMO it looked out of place.

+1 it just doesn't look right IMO but if you like it get it.

I have a stock 05+ **** on my 04 gt and it fits pretty good on there
it looks and feels good.
it doest seem like its made for the hole setup but it threads on there nice and tight!

I have an aftermarket 05+ **** on my 99. I had to use a pipe wrench to get it on there lined up correctly. The threads are obviously not the same - I don't really care though. I don't ever plan on taking it off lol. I guess I wouldn't recommend it but it's your car!
