Default Possible to get lower revs?

Hey guys, i need some help here. I am looking for any possible mod that will help me get lower revs on the interstate, but keep my car's nice *kick in the but* off the line? I thought about getting lower gears but 3.55 seems low enuff to me. Is it possible to get lower revs on the interstate or should i just wait until my warranty expires and just put the cobra transmission in my Mach1. <--- Is this even possible?

Are you crusing around doing 120? I don't get it. What speed are we talking about and what are your current RPM's at it. It can't be that high.

is your car auto?

if not, getting a cobra(03/04 T56 trany) wont help (that much if any) you get you RPM's down, because the 5 gear in your car (if 5-speed) is almost the same as a T56 trany. I think they both have a over drive of .62 im not sure. The T56's 5th gear is something like a .82 which is a overdrive also, but it is not the same as our 5th gear(.62), The extra gear is just located in between our 4th & 5th. Sorry if this dosn't make sence, hope it helps.

if you have a auto getting any manual will help

Im talking about me runing 70 in 5th gear and taching about 2,000 -2,200. Not that high but still high enuff to kill highway gas milage.

you cant be revingmuch over 2,000 rpm in 5th right? so it's not too bad unless your driven like 80-90 mph.
