Drag Suspension Question????
Ok here is the deal. I have a few blot on's right now and im looking to add a ZEX Kit to the mix. I was told i should do a few suspension mods also to hook right. Right now my suspension is stock other then some BBK springs. Im looking to throw some Lakewood 70/30's in front and 50/50's in the rear. Now i would like 90/10(front) but the word is that my street ride will suck a$$ if I do that. Is this true? Also i was going to put UMI Performance Lifter bars in the rear.

They are supposed to replace the South Side Machine lifter bars. Is this a good rear control arm to get. Or should i stick to a Lakewood lower and upper set up? What do you guys think?

My buddy DD 90/10 up front and 50/50 out back with coilovers front and back. It rides very nice and not too harsh at all.
Those lift bars do the same thing as Megabite JR lower control arms. The level out the arms to change the geometry of the rear suspension for better traction. The stock suspension is designed for highway driving and not launching. By lowering the the mounting point it helps with quicker weight transfer and keep the rear tires loaded thru out the run.
Here is a pic of my Megabite JR. lowers

LOL If it was a POS swar bar I'm sure it would have broke by now. It's an axle brace and stabilizes the axle and stops wheel hop. I guess you didn't read what I wrote. The upr control arms are better then stock but not as good as the umi.

From what I've read, a swarr bar doesn't really help you launch more even, and it definately doesn't do the same thing as the LCAs. I believe the swarr bar is an axle brace like the CHE piece ox has, except the CHE piece is MUCH better. If you want to get the tires to load evenly, you can do an airbag on one side, or the best way is to get an anti roll bar, but it has to be disconnected on the street.
