I have Bridgestone Potenza's 245/45/17's.......they were about 120 a pop. They get the job done but not the best tires you can buy. They were a B-day present, so I wasn't going to complain on which tires I got. Who wants to drop money on tires (unless they are DR's

I was gonna get some Sumitomo HTR Z II tires, they look good, but I'm still not sure, I've heard things about Nittos, are they good ? Oh yeah, I got a 98 GT.

yea i hear nitto's are great i went w/some falkens they are nice also hook up pretty well they prolly wont last too long but oh well i like them im prolly gonna go for some deep dish wheels next time i need tires

I tried a tire I'd never heard of called Avon M555. So far I love them!! Found them on TireRack.com. The review were pretty rave, as were the test results. Total cost installed (including drop shipping to the installer) was just under $300 for two. They messed up and stuck them on the front, so I'll let you know how they work in the back in about 5000 miles or so, but cornering has improved greatly with these tires.

www.tirerack.com and look around for what you want. Also try www.tires.com and check the right choice for mail order tires. That will bring you to Discount Tire. They carry some brands that Tire Rack does not.

I have heard a lot of good things about those new Mickey T drag radials. I was talking to a guy at my local speed shop and he said that he ran some of his best times on those...(I believe he said 7.60's) That is the tire Im going with.
