Default Plugs

I have searched and no solid answers!

I replaced my plugs at 105K with OEM motorcrafts. I currently sit at 157K should I replace again? If so which plugs should I buy?
Copper?Platinum? What is the big difference.

Thanks

52k on plugs...sure why not its not that expensive. Either way...I would definitely make sure each plug is snug and not backing out. You don't want a blow out.

Very true on checking.

What is torque (14ft lbs?) and do most use anti seize or not? I did not last time.

I torqued mine to 17 and used anti-sieze... I think the manual calls for 12 pounds though.

The TQ specs you often find in a book for plugs are without antiseize so you always want to bump it up a bit (like you did) with antiseize.

Manuals state the TQ spec without antiseize so you're fine by going up a few pounds when you use antiseize since the plug could back out if not tightened sufficiently.
