Default Mach I Quarter time.

Maybe I am crazy but a fella I know that owns a 2003 Mach 1 with an X pipe says that he ran a 13.2 on street tires without power shifting at the track. No other mods other than the X pipe. Is it just me or is that way too low? I thought the Mach 1 was a 14 second quarter. Anybody help me out here?
Thanks

I think that is doable, especially with the X pipe. I have a mag floating around where the guys got a stock one in the 13's all day long.

GT-260 hp
SOHC

Mach-305 hp
DOHC
I think the mach also has higher compression.

I was on a different mustang forum and the Mach 1 owners there must be on crack. They are all talking about how they can smoke C5 corvettes. Half of them are stock.

Ya, I'd like to see that happen. I could have sworn that i saw somewhere that mach's were only like .2 seconds faster than a gt.
Shouldn't they be faster since they're putting out 45 more hp, unless they weigh more, which i don't think they do.

A stock Mach 1 will usually run a 13.4 13.5 with a good driver and a good track.
