Mach I Quarter time.

RE: Mach I Quarter time.
Found that article I was referring to in my earlier reply. The mag tested the 40th Anniver. GT, the Mach 1, and the Cobra Convert. Here are the times:
GT - 14.095@96.64
Mach 1 - 13.156@105.35
Cobra Convert - 12.778@111.00
I thought the Cobra would have done better.

RE: Mach I Quarter time.
Sorry for the delay in posting the set up on my car. I was away for the weekend. Again, I am no mechanic and since I bought the car after everything had been done I will tell you what I know and what I have been told.
SHM took a 4.6 a tore it down. They bored it to almost a 5.3. They changed the crank, rods and piston to get about an additinal 3/4 inch plunge from each piston. They added oversized intake and exhaust valves, competition camshafts, JBA headers, exhaust & H-pipe, an Accufab Billet Throttle Body and Plenum and a Holley HighFlow Air Filter. They also did work on the suspension and some rear end stuff like 4.10's and an alumuminum driveshaft and finally put Stop Tech brakes on the front.
The day they hooked it up to the dyno since I knew I wanted the car, one of the guys called me and said they got just over 400 hp out of it. They then changed the water pump and managed another 25 hp. The guy that phoned me told me last week that it was rwhp but I think he must be mistaken. I think it must be at the crank so I sent Sean Hyland an email to verify that and to get a copy of the dyno report.
Hope all of that makes sense.
P.S. - I am thinking about putting a KB on it next year but that means of course I will have to change the tranny.
