Default ECM on 2000 mustang

I just triggered the pats on my car while tuning the other day. So i mailed my ecm to delta tuning to find out what was going on. Just out of curiosity does anyone know if the gtg2 code on my door panel is supposed to correspond with a gtg3 sticker on my ecm? any ideas would be great

It doesn't matter. If you threw a PATS code then the key cylinder sensor has gone bad. A VERY common problem on other model Fords.

Had you done anything to the car recently? Like change the ECU or get a new key made?

No still the same key. The guys at deltaforce said it was my interface box that took a dump so they sent me a new one. And i still cant use the magic bullet they think that the ford Pats is interfering with the file transfer and then locking up. Ive had this happen before but a magic bullet solved my problem. Thanks for the info.

Are you referring to Delta Force Tuning (Sniper)?

yes thats the company. Just got my ECM back put it all back together and when i went to turn the ignition the gauges didnt reset the way they normally do. Also there was a clicking noise coming from the passenger side fender. Do you know what could be doing this?

The BCM and I think the Front lamp relay is in the Passenger fender. Call Cris or Pat at Sniper, they'll figure it out for you. For us to guess I think would be kinda hard unless someones already been through it.

Oh, crap sorry. If the battery is dead it would make a clicking sound coming from that lower front side of the car.

as well as a bad starter, or even as simple as just a loose battery cable. recently replaced my starter, cleaned up the cables a bit (need replacing), and replaced battery. now she starts up like a beast
