Will I need MIL eliminators?
It seems I'm full of questions, but I trust all of your opinions.
There is a shop down here that will cut off my rear cats and make a custom X pipe (using my stock H pipe). My question is, will I need MIL eliminators? Would passing emissions be a problem?
I'm guessing I will not need the eliminators since I'm still going to have the front two cats on, if I am wrong, please correct me.
I know the sound wont increase too much, but might sound pretty good.
Thank you,
Phil

i dont know how the laws are where you live but it wouldnt fly here in california.. you might throw a check engine light cuz the rear o2's will see that the cats arent there. i hear that keeping the cats in gives you better performance.. idk
if i were going to keep cats, i would get an aftermarket h or x pipe with hi-flow cats. you can find high-flow cats if you want to keep it legal. mil elims just get rid of the pesky light on your dash. if your state does a sniffer test (where they hook exhaust up to machine) , they will know if your running cats or not.
