I have a centi blown car making 450rwhp (on stock motor). I still have stock gears but want to upgrade. Which ones should I get and can I install them myself?

I run 3.90's with 373 rwhp & 528 rwtq, and it's perfect for me! Most people are probably going to tell you to run 3.73's though. I think either one would work out well!

Unless you have the proper tools and experience, this is one mod i would have a shop do!

I would say go with 3.73's. As far as doing it yourself, that would completely depend on your skill and determination level.

Well damn I was kinda leaning towards 4.10s. What is the reason everybody says 3.73 don't 4.10s help with acceleration?

Yea 4.10's are sweet but with that much HP you will run out of gear in the 1/4 mile. IMO 4.10's would just be a little bit of overkill for your HP level.

Well I don't go to the track I only street race. There are no tracks near me. So should I get the 4.10?

Sorry dude, don't really know how old you are. A lot of these little teenagers are into the whole roll racing on the highway bull ****, that's why I asked.

If your dig racing then get the 4.10's, just keep in mind that you'll be at the top of 4th gear around 110-115.

Thats fine most races don't get to that speed anyway.
