It dosent matter weither the car is cold or warmed up it is very hard to go into reverse, it started doing this last week but its really noticable now, i am takeing it to the dealer in the morning cause i only have 800 miles left on the factory warr. but i know they are going to tell me its "normal". but do u guys think something in the tranny is messed up?? has this happend to anyone?? thanks
Ive heard you need to engage the clutch for 5 seconds then try reverse. If it still doesnt want to go let up on the clutch then push it back down and it should go in.

This is true, but actually, it's 9 seconds. I just read in it my Haynes manual a few days ago.
I was having the same problems...still do, but they're not bad after you hold the clutch in.
I've noticed that on both of my stangs. I don't know exactly how hard yours is to get in, but usually if you go into first gear and then back to reverse, it slides in easier.
