Three pondering questions on 4.6 DOHC and IRS swaps

I'll re-estimate then at about 230-250hp considering baseline is 215hp @ 4200rpm. Also on that note the 4V of the same year made 300hp @ 5000rpm. So 85hp out of a engine not on boost is well worth it, however the motor Im looking for is 390hp @ 6000hp.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

EDIT: Also expect to pay a lot for a Termi drivetrain. They make that much because they are boosted.

The only part that is untrue....
99% of IRS cars with the known remedies (bushings, decent tires, a good shock/spring setup, FLSFCs) have eliminated wheel hop. The other 1% are freaks of nature. There's more than a few Cobras running 10s with nothing more than the mods I've listed. Then they just start snapping axles....
OP, consider that you although you will be adding 85 lbs to *** of the car, weight distribution will improve.
As far as ease of swap, it could go either way....my swap took 12 hours because EVERYTHING went wrong. Subframe wouldn't line up on the donor car, shredded wheel studs, exhaust fitment, brake issues....I have SEEN it done in 3 hours before, though.
If you plan on power levels above 450 I strongly recommend keeping the SRA......Level 5 axles are STUPID expensive and the stockers WILL eventually snap.

When we first swapped the IRS into my car, I decided to test the whole wheel hop issue since I did not believe it was as bad as was posted online. I went over to my friends workplace which is like a deserted hangar during the day (they park bus's in there during the night) and we messed around for an hour or so dumping the clutch. It felt pretty damn bad when the tires warmed a bit and it started hooking, felt like my SRA on a rough road. After swapping out the bushings for poly-urethane ones (did not go with delrin as they require regreasing quite often and I put too many miles on it to really be bothered with having to do this) and going back to the same garage, albeit these weren't in a perfectly controlled place, the test provided impressive results as far as wheel hop (there was almost no wheel hop)
This is what I've done to the IRS, I will not be going with the dss lvl 5 halfshafts as I've seen a lvl 5 halfshaft get demolished by a stock cobra, I'll replace it with another 03-04 halfshaft if it breaks as it's cheaper and to me is plenty strong enough for my non drag car.
