Default Been A While - Intro(Help)

Hey there,

I was here 4 years ago reading and learning. I am finally ready to get a mustang and have 2 more months until I go home after working for the season. I plan on finally buying a 99-04 Mustang GT or Cobra depending on price and wear and tear on the vehicle. I was just starting this post to see if anyone of you mustang geniuses can give me some thoughts and prices of what I should expect to see.

I am looking for a car with good clean paint. Also the engine can have some miles on it because I plan on rebuilding it once I drive around a bit. I will be buying a manual trans. I hope to do most of the work myself with a little help from my dad and friend but I have been out of the market for 4 years and would like some info.

Also can you give me a run down of how difficult or maybe on the easier side it is to mod out the mustangs. Last I remember they were one of the easier cars to build up? Sorry for the long post but its good to be back and I will be around reading and learning again and getting ready for the fall fun !!

I got my 98GT with a immaculate interior (for the age), little sun fade and a 118k mile 4.6L manual for 4500 TT&P. Full tube headers are a b**** to put in but a weekend job overall for a full exhaust.

Go on shelbyautos.com there is a link to the merchandise in there, there is a link to a bunch of websites that sell mustangs. I've been looking for a Mach 1 or Terminator Cobra they have both been ranging anywhere from 13K to 30K depending on what's done to them and miles. Hopefully this will help you out. Also check the Autotrader like CT said.

The 99-04 mustangs are pretty easy to mod. Since everyone seems to be driving one these days the parts are fairly comon.

thanks, i have been looking on autotrader and have found some for around 8k but wanted to come to the specialists.

Ok I am looking at easy mods to start because I finally am going to learn how to drive a manual and also id like to find a mustang gt with as little done as possible. What would be a list of easy to medium to install mods.

I will also probably put some exterior things on.

Thanks for all the help
